The Umarex T4E Heckler & Koch SFP9 pistol is a great replica of the live-fire model with the same name. It is suitable for training and self-defense – however, it can also handle a target and destruction shooting. This and other RAM replicas are popular during police training exercises.
The pistol is made of metal and polymer combination and looks very solid. It is powered by a 12g CO2 cartridge in the magazine. The magazine can hold eight .43 caliber rubber or pepper projectiles and shot capacity of one CO2 cartridge is around 40 rounds. There are iron sights on the slide and underneath you will find a 22mm rail for mounting various accessories.
The mechanism for cocking is very same as on the original - you pull the slide backwards and the authentic Blowback system takes care of the rest. The trigger safety protects against accidental discharges. Projectiles fired from this model reach a muzzle energy of around 5 J.
Rubber balls, pepper bullets, paintballs and many others can be used as ammunition.
