PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Pinguin Serac Tent
A double-wall tent for 3 - 4 people with a freestanding dome structure, one entrance and a vestibule for luggage. The inner tent can also be pitched without the flysheet.
Construction and materials
The groundsheet is made of laminated polyethylene with a Rip-Stop finish. The polyester flysheet with a polyurethane coating has a hydrostatic head of 4 000 mm H2O and taped seams to prevent leaks.
The inner tent has a rectangular floor plan and an entrance on the longer side. It attaches with hooks to crossed fibreglass poles with a diameter of 8.5 mm. A separate pole tensions the vestibule.
Anchoring, ventilation and access
The tent is secured with pegs and guy lines. Two vents at the top of the dome have covers shaped to prevent them from collapsing in the wind; they can be closed with hook-and-loop fasteners as needed.
At the entrance to the triangular vestibule, the left or right half can be opened, or both at the same time. The vestibule provides space for storing luggage.
