Pinguin

Pinguin is one of the oldest Czech outdoor brands, with a story that began in the second half of the 1980s. Its first down jackets and sleeping bags were made in a small student apartment in Brno for friends, travellers and climbers. What started as small-scale production gradually grew into a brand that became a firmly established part of the Czech outdoor scene.

From sleeping bags to its own tents

In the mid-1990s, Pinguin became one of the first Czech brands to develop lightweight double-wall tents for hiking and mountaineering. This was also the period when the first version of the now well-known Gemini series was created.

The range gradually expanded and today includes tents, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, backpacks, outdoor clothing, stoves, cookware, trekking poles and other equipment for spending time outdoors. Pinguin can therefore equip you for anything from a relaxing weekend at a campsite to a more demanding mountain expedition.
