Airguns with Czech hallmark
The Taipan Airguns brand has been dedicated to the production of compact, bullpup-type PCP air rifles for years, featuring the finest possible processing quality, premium materials, unmatched accuracy and 100% reliability.
Nowadays, all airguns are assembled and serviced in the Czech Republic. However, the Taipan story began in Ukraine when two engineers from Kiev came up with the idea of creating a PCP air rifle to their own requirements. One of them even contributed to the development of the then largest aircraft in the world - Antonov An-225 Mrija. After an agreement, we as the BULLET PROJECT company began funding their project and the Taipan Airguns brand was established.
After four years of research and development, we have initiated the production of new Czech bullpup air rifles full of innovative ideas called Veteran I. A couple of years later we came up with the completely redesigned Veteran II airguns, which were successful all over the world. Now it's time to unveil something entirely different - our first semi-automatic PCP air rifle called the SLASH.
Subtle design, semi-automatic firing mode, outstanding performance. These are only some of the many strengths of the brand new PCP airgun from the highly acclaimed company Taipan Airguns.
As it is obvious at first sight, this bullpup is not just another follow-up to the Veteran lineage. It is a completely new air rifle that does not borrow a single component from the previous models. That is why the creators gave it a short and fitting name, Taipan SLASH.
The crucial element of the new Taipan is its semi-automatic firing mode. After long years of research, the designers have managed to develop - and patent - a revolutionary valve that is characterised by extraordinary opening and closing speed. As a result, the airgun achieves excellent muzzle energy at minimum air consumption.
