Pinguin Peak 38 NX sleeping mat – comfort and thermal insulation in all conditions

Pinguin Peak 38 NX is a versatile self-inflating sleeping mat for those who want to combine comfort, excellent thermal insulation and reasonable weight. Thanks to its dimensions of 184x54x3.8cm, it offers comfortable sleeping for most users from spring to autumn. The mat belongs to the Peak model range, which is designed to provide a great balance between packed volume, weight and thermal comfort.

Durable construction, materials and DHC core structure

The upper and lower side of the mat are made of brushed polyester with TPU lamination, which ensures water resistance, high mechanical durability and better anti-slip properties.

Inside the mat there is a core with a special DHC (Double Horizontal Core) structure. This means that the foam is horizontally perforated in two layers.

Self-inflating system and DLF – Dual layer flat valve

The mat uses a self-inflating system – after opening the valve, the inner foam starts to expand and draw in air, which significantly simplifies bed preparation after a demanding day.

The key element is the modern DLF – Dual layer flat valve. This is a flat two-layer valve that minimizes the risk of damage and at the same time enables fast inflation and deflation. One layer of the valve is used for inflation and prevents air from escaping during topping up, the other allows the flow to be fully opened when packing, so deflation is fast and efficient. Thanks to its flat design, the valve does not protrude from the profile of the mat and does not get in the way while sleeping.
