Rifle Scope Vector Optics Continental x6 4-24x56 FFP FDE PRS offers variable magnification, a large objective lens and a first focal plane reticle designed specifically for PRS disciplines.
Optical system
The riflescope features variable magnification of 4-24x and a 56 mm objective lens which, in combination with the German Schott HT optical system complemented by the VePRO FMC coating, achieves a very high 90% light transmission. Thanks to this, the riflescope guarantees perfect readability of the reticle and target details in low light conditions even at maximum magnification.
Reticle
The VEC-MBR reticle with a milradian (MIL) scale is optimised for PRS shooting disciplines (Precision Rifle Shooting). It is placed in the first focal plane (FFP), so its size changes with magnification and its scale thus corresponds to real values across the entire magnification range. The reticle illumination offers 6 intensity levels with intermediate Off positions. The illumination is powered by a CR2032 battery (not included).
Mechanical properties
Exposed tactical turrets with a click value of 1/10 MIL / 0.1 MRAD are equipped with a Turret Lock function, allowing the settings to be locked to minimise the risk of unintentional rotation when handling the rifle or moving between shooting positions. The elevation turret uses a Zero Stop system, which enables a reliable return of the elevation adjustment to a preselected zero. Parallax is adjustable from 10 yards to infinity and dioptre adjustment in the range of -3 to +2D is a matter of course.
Construction and durability
The riflescope is built on a robust 34 mm tube made from 6061-T6 aluminium alloy. The tube is nitrogen-purged to prevent internal fogging and the optics are waterproof to IP67, so it will withstand heavy rain as well as brief submersion. The construction is shockproof up to 1000 G, which corresponds to the recoil of calibres such as .300, .308 and .338, so the riflescope can be safely used even on high-powered rifles.
