The old gasket in the photos.
By roughly this procedure I replaced the Kral N01
0. Check discharged
1. Unscrew the screw behind the trigger and the two screws hidden under the
rubber fish on the forearm
2. There is a pin hidden under the plastic boot at the end of the cylinder
housing, knock it out. Pull some wire through the hole to keep it from
flying out.
3. Use a ten wrench to loosen the screw holding the spring plug and the trigger
assembly
4. Pull out the spring with the mandrel and the metal weight on the face
5. Release the trigger assembly, pull it backwards. He's gonna want to play
with it a little bit. I had to pull the trigger by hand from the side.
6. Load lever out through the extension to the outside, drops the plastic wheel
and horseshoe off of it.
7. Pull the piston out, knock the old gasket off. Push the new one against the
floor or table.
I cleaned the cylinder from the inside by cleaning it on 12GA, wiped it dry
with rags. The soot buildup from the burnt vaseline wasn't as bad as
I expected.
Feels stronger after replacement, some of the bumps go through the 25mm slat.
The gasket fits. It's old in the photos.
I changed it more out of curiosity after three years and about 1500 shots. The old gasket was not visibly destroyed, but the new one seals better. Tested manually by lowering the cylinder without a spring.
The replacement clears the dirt from the gun's breech
