As the brand name Less Than Lethal (LTL) owned by the company Chiappa suggests, this pistol is designed for reliable yet non-lethal self-defense. It utilizes .50 caliber rubber or pepper balls, which are inserted into a well concealed magazine under the barrel. Delivering 14 Joules of muzzle energy, it is the most powerful RAM pistol on our website.
The pistol is powered by a single 12g CO2 cartridge that is inserted into the grip. To activate it, simply strike the valve with your palm which pierces the cartridge and the pistol is ready to fire. The valve is large enough to be easily tightened and loosened without the use of any tools, while at the same time not detracting from the overall appearance of the pistol. Upon activation, an indicator pops up above the grip to indicate that the gun is under pressure. To depressurize the pistol, simply press the indicator in.
The Bravo 1.50 is made of metal internal components, which are then covered by a lightweight polymer body and a robust metal slide. The slide is fixed and contains fixed sights with optical fiber, allowing for easy aiming in low visibility conditions. To accommodate a laser or flashlight, there is a short Picatinny rail under the barrel and a single safety mechanism is located right inside the trigger blade.

Since the gun is powered by CO2 cartridges, the sealing rings can become brittle and crack when exposed to the freezing carbon dioxide over time. This can be prevented by occasional application of silicone oil 1) by a spray bottle, where you simply coat the internal mechanism, 2) by applying a few drops of silicone oil to the nozzle of the inserted cartridge 3) by using an oil cartridge (easiest). It’s also not recommended to leave the activated cartridge in the gun for longer than necessary. If you know you won't be shooting for a while, release the pressure by loosening the valve.
