Crossbow NXG JagTwo is another crossbow with which the German manufacturer Umarex is reaching out to crossbow shooters. It should be said that despite the clearly visible pistol grip at first glance, this is far from being just a pistol crossbow, but a recurve crossbow suitable for target shooting. To cock the crossbow you have to exert a draw weight of 175 lb.
Thanks to this, the crossbow can boast a relatively high arrow speed. Fired bolts leave the crossbow at a speed of 260 fps. Converted to the metric system, this is almost 80 m/s, or 285 km/h. At such speed it is necessary to pay attention not only to a safe shooting direction, but also to avoid injury to the shooter himself. The manufacturer has not forgotten this and has equipped the crossbow with an integrated finger guard. You no longer have to worry about your fingers.
The NXG JagTwo crossbow has a construction made of high‑quality polymer. Especially if you have an atypical body type, you will appreciate the option of adjustable stock length. Thanks to this, the crossbow will fit perfectly into anyone’s shoulder. The manufacturer also kept versatility in mind when designing the pistol grip. The crossbow is therefore comfortable to shoot and it doesn’t matter whether you are right‑handed or left‑handed.
Also worth mentioning is the 22 mm Weaver rail for attaching an optic or a red dot sight. It is relatively up to you what kind of optic you use. Either way, shooting this crossbow will be highly comfortable. However, in the case of the Deluxe set, the manufacturer has more or less decided for you and has included a red dot sight with three dots with the crossbow.
The NXG JagTwo crossbow is a sound choice at an attractive price. It is not a compound crossbow that launches bolts at significantly higher speeds, but it is still a model that easily competes with higher product ranges from already proven brands in this field. Choosing this crossbow will definitely not disappoint you. And on top of that, in the Deluxe set you have everything a shooter needs. You don’t have to buy any additional equipment. You might just want to add some extra 16" bolts.
