You can choose between 5 light modes (primary diode only, secondary diodes only, diffused reading diode only, all diodes at once, warning flash). In the all diodes at once mode, the headlamp produces a light output of up to 670 lumens, which is more than enough for any nighttime activity.
It's powered by two 3.7V 18650 batteries (included), which are inserted into the rear panel and can be charged directly in the headlamp using the included micro USB cable.
