That's why the Continental x8 1-8x24 SFP Hunting MOA offers a truly superior LaREE and VePRO lens system with FMC coating that transmits impressive 93% of light. That makes the riflescope suitable even for low visibility conditions.
This model features a VEC-FDR (Fiber Dot) reticle in the second focal plane (the reticle does not change its size depending on the zoom) with a total of 11 illumination levels, powered by a CR2032 battery (not included).
Elevation and lateral correction is performed in the range of 40 MIL, where 1 click = 1/10 MIL. Open Turret Lock type rectification turrets hold the set value firmly after snapping into place. Parallax correction is fixed at 100 yards (91.44m). The rotation of the rectification turrets is followed by a gentle clicking sound that allows you to adjust the rifle scope without having to take your eyes off the target.
All components are protected by a durable IP67-rated 6061 T6 aerospace aluminum housing, making the riflescope capable of withstanding recoil of 750G. The forged one-piece tube has a classic 30mm diameter and the scope is filled with nitrogen to prevent the lenses from fogging due to sudden temperature changes.
This model is able to withstand 750 g (unit of gravitational acceleration), which is equivalent to the recoil of .223 and .308 caliber firearms.
