Morakniv Karl-Johan is a solid mushroom knife with a brush for cleaning mushrooms from real horsehair. It comes in several colour options, so you can easily choose the type that suits you. Weighing just 55g, you can keep it close at hand at all times. It's great for everyday carry, thanks to the polymer blade cap with clip for attaching to your belt or backpack.
The blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel rolled cold and hardened to a hardness of 57-58 HRC. The Drop Point blade profile helps make slicing mushrooms easier. The blade is housed in a durable polymer handle, which features a brush on the spine to gently clean mushrooms of dirt and other debris.
The knife has a somewhat unconventional grip. It fits inside the palm of the hand with the blade against the thumb and the other fingers clasped around the handle. The thumb then always presses the shaft of the sponge against the knife.
