The Journeyman Pack Axe from German manufacturer Helko Werk is a reliable axe for outdoor excursions. Its light weight and small size make it easy to carry. The back of the head can also serve as a hammer.
The head is made of hand forged C50 carbon steel with a hardness of 53 - 56 HRC. The blade is hand ground and the trademark Helko crown is stamped. The head weighs 700 g.
It is also worth mentioning the white walnut (hickory) handle with a total length of 50 cm. The wood used to make the hickory burner is carefully selected to ensure the best possible texture.
As an added bonus, a practical cowhide holster comes with this model. The total weight is 1050 g.
