The Hudson Bay Camp Hatchet from German manufacturer Helko Werk is a versatile axe that you'll appreciate when camping in the great outdoors.
The head is made from hand forged C45 carbon steel with a hardness of 53 - 56 HRC. The blade is hand ground and features Helko's trademark embossed crown. The head weighs just 500g and its ground and polished surface reduces friction when chopping and also increases corrosion resistance.
Also worth mentioning is the Swiss ash handle with an overall length of 36 cm. The wood used to make the hatchet is carefully selected to ensure the best possible texture.
As an added bonus, a practical cowhide leather sheath comes with this model. The total weight is 800 g.
