The Expedition Axe from German manufacturer Helko Werk is a robust, heavy-duty axe that you can rely on in almost any situation.
The head is made of hand-forged C45 carbon steel with a hardness of 53 - 56 HRC. The blade is hand-ground and features Helko's trademark embossed crown. The head weighs 2000 g and its ground and polished surface reduces friction when cutting and splitting and also increases corrosion resistance.
Also worth mentioning is the white walnut (hickory) handle with a total length of 90 cm. The wood used to make the hickory burner is carefully selected to ensure the best possible texture.
As an added bonus, a practical cowhide holster comes with this model. The total weight is 2800 g.
