The head is made of hand forged C50 carbon steel with a hardness of 53 - 56 HRC. The blade is hand ground and features the trademark Helko stamped crown. The head weighs 600 g.
Also worth mentioning is the white walnut (hickory) handle with a total length of 36 cm. The wood used to make the hickory burner is carefully selected to ensure the best possible texture.
