The best-known Turkish air rifle manufacturer Hatsan brings the model 100x Torpedo Vortex, which is fitted with a beautiful walnut stock and an innovative Vortex power system.
The Vortex system uses a gas‑pressurised piston instead of a spring. This has eliminated recoil and noise that would otherwise be caused by the spring. The air rifle also achieves a more stable performance.
Cocking is done with an underlever. The advantage is that the barrel remains stationary the whole time and there is no wear in the break‑barrel joint. The manual safety is located at the end of the action, just like on the Czech Slavia. An advantage of this model is the adjustable trigger, where you can set both the trigger travel and the pull weight.
The stock is ambidextrous and is suitable for both right‑ and left‑handed shooters. The rubber butt pad at the end of the stock fits nicely into the shoulder and absorbs the remaining recoil.
As standard, the Hatsan 100X is fitted with TruGlo fibre‑optic sights, but if you are considering mounting a scope, you won’t have the slightest problem thanks to the dual rail for 11 mm and 22 mm. The package also includes a practical bipod.
