The lightweight, carefully crafted Gerber Gator Combo Axe II is designed for all travelers and adventurers. The main feature of this model is the extended handle with special rubber Gator texture. This surface sits firmly even in a wet or damp palm, so you can concentrate purely on the job at hand.
The nylon top is reinforced with fiberglass, which greatly increases its resistance to impact or drops. A small surprise is the saw blade, hidden right in the construction of the top. It is easily removed from the inner hole by pulling it lightly in the direction of the handle. The head is made of forged stainless steel.
