Compared to its predecessors, this version offers even more compact dimensions and a number of other improvements. Worth mentioning are the increased air capacity in the Power Plenum and the improved air flow. All metal parts have been manufactured using the most precise CNC technologies.
Wildcat MKIII Compact is supplied with a 500 mm long barrel. However, thanks to the bullpup design, it does not affect the very compact overall length of the rifle, which is only 675 mm. Naturally, the option of changing the barrel is also included, allowing you to choose the type that will best correspond to the types and weights of ammunition you select. The barrel is shrouded and at its end there is a 1/2 UNF thread for mounting an additional sound moderator.
The synthetic stock is lightweight and pleasant to the touch. The ergonomically shaped pistol grip fits perfectly in your hand and shouldering is really comfortable. The sidelever has a very smooth action and its position above the trigger ensures easy access.
A new feature is the adjustment wheel at the rear of the rifle, which controls the hammer spring preload. It has a total of seven preset positions. The eighth position allows more precise adjustment using an Allen key. This gives you the option of perfectly matching the power output with the pressure regulator.
The air cylinder is located under the barrel and its capacity is 230 cc. The maximum filling pressure is 230 bar. A pressure gauge located at the front of the cylinder under the muzzle is used to check the pressure. Another gauge shows the current regulator pressure and can be found on the left side of the rifle, under the cheekpiece.
The magazine has also been improved. It now holds a total of 18 pellets in 5.5 mm calibre and is compatible with magazines for FX Crown and FX Dreamline. The trigger is fully adjustable and has a very light pull. A manual safety is of course included. To mount a scope you can use the 11 mm mounting rail.
