The company owner and designer Fredrik Axelsson spent two years developing and testing the bolt mechanism and pressure valve before the rifle even went into production. The result is exceptionally smooth and fluent cocking, which makes shooting an even greater pleasure. FX air rifles are known worldwide for their innovative design, 100% reliability and breathtaking accuracy.
FX PCP rifles are fitted with barrels marked Smooth Twist, which means that 90% of the barrel is smooth and there is a fine rifling twist at the end. The pellet first fully accelerates in the barrel and only then does the rifling impart spin. The manufacturer offers different types of rifling, which encourages experimentation with various types of ammunition. Smooth Twist barrels are currently among the most accurate and most respected on the market.
The trigger is fully adjustable and is one of the best we have tried so far. The carbon air cylinder holds exactly 400 cm3 of air. If you fill the air rifle to 220 BAR, you get approx. 100 full‑power shots down to 125 BAR, where the pressure regulator is set.
The thumbhole laminate stock designated Black Pepper gives the rifle excellent balance. A manual safety, located under the sidelever on the right side, is also standard. An 11 mm dovetail rail is provided for mounting a riflescope.
