FX Maverick from the workshop of Swedish manufacturer FX Airguns is a brand-new
PCP air rifle that has been specially designed for shooting heavier pellets and
slugs. The Compact version comes with a highly accurate 500 mm barrel, and the
overall length of this carbine does not exceed 700 mm.

The engineers from the Swedish company FX Airguns have really put in the effort, resulting in a high-performance, modular air rifle that is literally packed with cutting-edge technologies and smart features.
The Compact version comes with a highly accurate barrel with a length of 500 mm and the overall length of this carbine does not exceed 700 mm. The design of the rifle of course still allows for easy calibre change (Smooth Twist X technology). The barrel is shrouded and you will find a thread for an external sound moderator at its muzzle.
This model uses a dual AMP regulator system. The first regulator reduces the air pressure and preconditions it for the second regulator. Thanks to this solution, the second regulator is not stressed as much and the rifle achieves consistent performance with a minimum amount of deviation. Both regulators can be adjusted externally so that they work together in the greatest possible harmony. The manufacturer recommends keeping the difference between them at around 30 to 40 bar.
The FX Maverick also boasts the largest Power Plenum ever available on an FX PCP rifle. Its capacity is 89 cm3 and in combination with the dual regulator system it delivers very consistent results. The oval carbon bottle can hold 300 cm3 of air and the maximum filling pressure is 250 bar.
Improved match trigger is adjustable and ranks among the best we have tested so far. The manual safety is located on the right side of the action, just above the trigger. An adjustable buttpad is also included. The rifle’s modular design allows the installation of a wide range of accessories, using a total of four 22mm Weaver rails.
