The development of PCP air rifles is moving forward in leaps and bounds, and the Korean manufacturer Evanix definitely does not want to be even a step behind. On the contrary, they are constantly looking for new ways to improve already near-perfect models. Proof of this is the second generation of the highly successful bullpup Max Air.
Evanix Max Air II is one of the fastest and most reliable semi-automatic air rifles on the market. It is an ideal choice for those who are tired of constant reloading; you can shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger. It should be added that without any jamming. It’s simple: before inserting the magazine, just pull the charging handle, insert the magazine and push the handle back. After that, all you need to do is pull the trigger.
The Air Max model uses a new type of magazine developed specifically for Semi-auto models. The package includes 1 piece with a capacity of 9 shots. The manual safety is located above the trigger.
High-quality workmanship is a matter of course for Evanix products. The rifle feels really solid and all main parts are made of metal. The stock and cheekpiece are made of polymer. The Max Air does not have iron sights, so a 22mm Weaver rail is used for mounting optics. You will find the second rail on the fore-end, for example for attaching a bipod.
The air cylinder has a volume of 280 ccm with a maximum working pressure of 250 bar. It is filled using the classic Evanix quick-fill. The barrel is shrouded, which makes the rifle quieter. In addition, you can purchase a sound moderator and screw it onto the 1/2" thread.
