The development of PCP air rifles is advancing in leaps and bounds and the Korean manufacturer Evanix definitely does not want to stay even one step behind. On the contrary, they constantly look for new solutions to improve already perfect models. Proof of this is the second generation of the highly successful bullpup Max Air.
Evanix Max Air II is one of the fastest and most reliable semi-automatic air rifles on the market. It is an ideal choice for those who are tired of constant reloading; you can shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger. It should be added that this is without any jamming. It’s simple: before inserting the magazine, just cock the charging handle, insert the magazine and return the handle to its original position. After that you only need to pull the trigger.
The Air Max model uses a new type of magazine developed specifically for Semi-auto models. The package includes 1 piece with a capacity of 10 shots. The manual safety is located above the trigger.
High-quality workmanship is a matter of course for Evanix products. The rifle feels very solid and all main components are made of metal. The stock and cheek piece are made of polymer. The Max Air has no open sights, so a 22mm Weaver rail is used for mounting optics. You will find a second rail on the fore-end, for example for attaching a bipod.
The air cylinder has a capacity of 280 ccm with a maximum working pressure of 250 bar. It is filled using the standard Evanix quickfill. The barrel is shrouded, which makes the rifle quieter, but it is still possible to purchase a sound moderator and screw it onto the 1/2" thread.
