If you don’t enjoy cocking the rifle before every shot, then the Evanix Air Max is the right choice for you. Polymer stock with carbon-style finish. The air cylinder has a capacity of 280cc with a maximum working pressure of 250 bar. Air is supplied using the classic Evanix QuickFill pin. The barrel is shrouded, and therefore the rifle is quieter, but you can still purchase a sound moderator and screw it onto the 1/2" thread.
Before loading the magazine, simply pull back the charging lever, insert the magazine and push the lever back. Then you only need to pull the trigger repeatedly without any manual cycling. The safety is located at the top of the trigger guard. The Air Max model uses new magazines developed by Evanix specifically for Semi-auto models. The 10-shot magazine can be inserted from both the right and left side. The 22mm RIS rail is an integral part of this model as well, so you can – or rather must – equip the rifle with a riflescope. The Air Max is not fitted with standard open sights.
Since the entire system is powered by air, the manufacturer also considered unpleasant air blowback around the magazine and produced a practical cover that only needs to be fitted in place.
Practical experience: Shooting without any manual cycling is really pleasant and very fast. This rifle simply captivated us. Since the system is no longer powered by a battery, frequent malfunctions are eliminated.
