The Epic designers are now coming up with something a bit more classic – the ONE Walnut range with an elegantly shaped walnut stock.
Introducing EPIC ONE – the new icon of the world‑famous company EPIC AIRGUNS based in the Czech Republic. The EPIC team has capitalised on all the experience gained from the production of the successful TWO model and transformed it into its compact bullpup successor. The high manufacturing quality is evident from every angle – for example, the main monoblock of the air rifle is made from a single piece of metal on a 5‑axis CNC machine.
This bullpup boasts a new adjustable HIGH-POWER balanced valve that guarantees maximum power with minimum hammer spring tension, making it easier to cock the sidelever. At the same time, it reduces air waste and thus increases the shot count per fill. Hammer pre‑tension can be adjusted externally using the screw located above the buttpad.
The air cylinder with a maximum working pressure of up to 300 bar (4350 PSI) can be filled via the supplied fill probe with a standard 1/8" diameter compatible with standard quick couplers. The air rifle is equipped with two manometers – one indicating the current pressure in the cylinder, the other for the pressure in the externally adjustable regulator, which can be set with the supplied key in the range from 50 to 190 bar (always follow the instructions in the manual).
To achieve even more consistent muzzle velocity, the regulator is complemented by a large power plenum (63cc on the version with 420mm barrel and 95cc on the 550mm and 700mm barrels).
EPIC ONE air rifles are fitted with a non‑choked CZUB barrel (Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod) with 12 grooves and a 17.7" twist rate. The muzzle end is equipped with a 1/2UNF thread for mounting a sound moderator. The carbon shroud serves to stiffen the barrel and also allows barrel pre‑tension (harmonic tuning).
Air rifles with barrel lengths of 420mm and 550mm are additionally equipped with an integrated K‑Baffle type sound moderator, also ending with a 1/2UNF thread.
On the version with a 700mm barrel, after unscrewing the segment with the 1/2UNF thread and exposing the M27x1 thread, it is compatible with the EPIC AIRGUNS sound moderator or with the muzzle brake.
Thanks to the barrel kit, you can freely change the barrel length and the overall calibre of the air rifle. The set contains everything you need (barrel, carbon shroud with M27x1 thread, adapter for 1/2UNF moderator, 1/2UNF thread protector, transfer port and probe).
To achieve the best results with heavy pellets and slugs, there is also a barrel kit available with a non‑choked polygonal Lothar Walther barrel (6 grooves with a 17.7" twist rate).
The ONE series is equipped with a new pre‑tensioned magazine with a magnetically closing cover. To load it, simply rotate the inner part and insert the first round, which locks the rotary mechanism. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the magazine does not disrupt the overall appearance of the air rifle and does not get in the way when handling it. In addition, it holds projectiles up to 14mm long.
Thanks to a clever bullpup design, the ONE model is extremely compact while the air rifle remains perfectly balanced. A rubberised cheekpiece, which can be freely moved along the 11mm dovetail rail running along the entire main block of the air rifle, ensures correct eye alignment. The raised Picatinny rail canted by up to 30 MOA is also adjustable and makes it easier to zero the scope for shooting at extreme distances.
Instead of an adjustable aluminium buttpad, the Walnut range boasts a walnut stock manufactured by the renowned Czech company KLINSKY, finished down to the smallest detail. The selected wood has a unique texture, making each air rifle a one‑of‑a‑kind piece. If you already own the standard EPIC ONE version, the wooden stock can be purchased separately here.
You can also purchase the Top Rail EPIC ONE – a tuning Picatinny rail with a series of M-LOK slots on the sides, or an Arca-Swiss mounting platform for versions with a 580cc and 300cc carbon bottle.
To attach additional accessories, you can use two short Anschütz UIT rails on the sides of the barrel.
Trigger mechanism has been fine‑tuned to perfection. Using several screws, you can adjust the trigger pull weight, first and second stage travel, as well as the height and angle of the trigger blade. The reliable lever safety is located right in front of the trigger, so you do not need to take your eyes off the target to disengage the rifle. The easily switchable sidelever with an extremely smooth action is already a matter of course on EPIC air rifles.
EPIC ONE Walnut is available in three configuration variants:
