The EPIC team have put to use all the experience gained from producing the successful TWO model and transformed it into its compact bullpup successor. The high manufacturing quality is evident from every angle – for example, the main monoblock of the air rifle is made from a single piece of metal on a 5‑axis CNC machine.
This bullpup boasts a new adjustable HIGH-POWER balanced valve, which guarantees maximum performance with minimal hammer spring tension, making it easier to cock the side lever. At the same time it reduces air wastage and thus increases the number of shots per fill. The hammer pre‑tension can be adjusted externally via a screw located above the buttplate.
The air cylinder with a maximum working pressure of up to 300 bar (4350 PSI) can be filled using the supplied fill probe with a standard 1/8” diameter compatible with a standard quick‑connect coupling. The rifle is equipped with 2 gauges – one to indicate the current pressure in the cylinder, the other for the pressure in the externally adjustable regulator, which can be adjusted with the included tool in the range from 50 to 190 bar (always follow the instructions in the manual).
To achieve an even more consistent muzzle velocity, the regulator is complemented by a large power plenum (63cc on the version with a 420mm barrel and 95cc on the 550mm and 700mm barrels).
EPIC ONE air rifles are fitted with an unchoked CZUB barrel (Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod) with 12 grooves and a 17.7” twist rate. The muzzle end is equipped with a 1/2UNF thread for mounting a sound moderator. The carbon shroud serves to stiffen the barrel and at the same time allows barrel pre‑tension (harmonic tuning).
Air rifles with a 420mm and 550mm barrel are additionally fitted with an integrated K‑Baffle type sound moderator, also ending in a 1/2UNF thread.
On the version with a 700mm barrel, after unscrewing the segment with the 1/2UNF thread and exposing the M27x1 thread, it is compatible with the EPIC AIRGUNS sound moderator or a muzzle brake.
Thanks to the barrel kit, you can freely change the barrel length and the overall calibre of the air rifle. The set includes everything you need (barrel, carbon shroud with M27x1 thread, 1/2UNF moderator adapter, 1/2UNF thread protector, transfer port and probe).
For the very best results with heavy pellets and slugs, a barrel kit is also available with an unchoked polygonal Lothar Walther barrel (6 grooves with a 17.7” twist rate).
The ONE series is equipped with a new pre‑tensioned magazine system with a magnetically closing cover. To load it, simply rotate the internal part and insert the first round, which locks the rotary mechanism. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the magazine does not spoil the overall appearance of the rifle and does not get in the way when handling it. In addition, it accepts projectiles up to 14mm long.
Thanks to the clever bullpup design, the ONE model achieves exceptionally compact dimensions while the rifle remains perfectly balanced. For the most comfortable shooting experience, the stock is fitted with a length‑adjustable buttplate with a textured contact surface and a QD sling swivel mount. The Bag Rider shown in the photos is not included.
A rubberised cheek piece, which can be freely moved along the 11mm dovetail running along the entire main block of the rifle, ensures proper eye alignment. The same applies to the adjustable raised Picatinny rail canted by up to 30 MOA, making it easier to zero the scope for shooting at extreme distances.
You can also purchase the Top Rail EPIC ONE – an upgraded Picatinny rail with a series of M‑LOK slots on the sides, or an Arca‑Swiss mounting platform for versions with a 580cc and 300cc carbon bottle.
To attach additional accessories, you can use two short Anschütz UIT rails on the sides of the barrel or a number of M‑LOK slots located between the buttplate and the standard AR-15 type grip.
The trigger mechanism has been fine‑tuned down to the smallest detail. With several screws you can adjust the trigger pull weight, first and second stage travel, as well as the height and rotation of the trigger blade. The reliable lever safety is located right in front of the trigger, so you do not need to take your eyes off the target to make the rifle ready to fire. The easily reversible side lever with an extremely smooth action is already a standard feature on EPIC air rifles.
