The Demun Accu Strike pistol crossbow from the renowned Barnett workshop combines innovative Barnett crossbow solutions in a compact and easy to handle pistol design.
The centerpiece of the design is the massive forearm, which includes a front rest, a pistol grip, and an upper 22mm rail for attaching the included sight. The R60 type limb set is mounted in the front of the forearm and a patented one-stage mechanism is used to cock it.
The whole is completed by a folding tactical stock providing stable support for the stock and acting as a lever for cocking the mechanism. The surface of the stock is extended with a cheekpiece with a roughened surface to increase comfort.
For shooting, the crossbow uses 7-inch arrows, which reach a muzzle velocity of up to 190 fps (58 m/s) thanks to the 60 lbs of draw weight.
