Crossbows were widely used as weapons of war and for hunting in the past. Their
basic design hasn’t changed that much throughout the ages. Modern recurve
crossbows are mostly used for target shooting. Their large limbs can propel the
bolt with a considerable speed. Modern technologies and materials make them even
more powerful and accurate.

Draw weight is 150 LB. It can therefore give the bolt an initial velocity of up to 75 m/s.
The stock is made of reinforced polymer. It is lightened by extensive cut-outs and gives the crossbow an attractive appearance. There are sling swivel studs on the underside for attaching a sling, which unfortunately is not included. This crossbow is of course equipped with a manual safety to prevent accidental firing. A 22mm mounting rail allows easy installation of a red dot sight or crossbow scope.
The BCR limbs are made from a single piece. Plastic tips are fitted at the ends, holding the string. We recommend lubricating the string with wax/grease. This grease is included in the package. The package also contains a foot stirrup, which is an excellent aid when cocking. Cocking can be done by hand, but if you intend to shoot repeatedly, we definitely recommend purchasing a rope cocking aid.
