It is actually neither a machete, nor a knife, nor a sword. It is a feared warrior’s weapon. The Kukri is still an essential part of the equipment of Gurkhas in the ranks of the elite SAS and it strikes incredible fear into their enemies. It is also an excellent working tool designed for chopping.
The blade is made of 1055 carbon steel. The balance point is placed closer to the tip of the machete, which is typical for a Kukri. The special sharpening of the blade is made for an extremely deep cut with every strike. The plastic handle fits comfortably in the hand and is almost indestructible.
The machete is supplied with a practical protective sheath.
