The Borner PM-X is a budget-friendly CO2-powered air pistol
that’s essentially a replica of the soviet Makarov PM, aimed at casual
plinking and backyard target shooting.
If your budget is €40 or less, this is definitely a pistol worth considering.
At that price point, it offers solid value for money – it’s powerful
enough for popping cans or paper targets at reasonable distances, and
it’s straightforward to operate, making it beginner-friendly.
However, if you’re planning to spend €50 or more, I’d strongly recommend
looking elsewhere. There are far better options in that price range that offer
better build quality and reliability.
In summary – good for what it costs, but only if you’re truly on a tight
budget.
