At the beginning of the cord there is a brass rod which is inserted into the barrel and pushed all the way through to the muzzle. At the front of the cleaning section of the cord there is an integrated brush for coarse fouling. These deposits are scrubbed out first, then the rest of the cord removes them.
The advantage of the cord is its compactness. You can wash it in a washing machine. Its length is 190 cm, of which 76 cm is taken up by the cleaning section.
