WARNING! Due to the atypical shape of the shooting rail, this crossbow can be used with ONLY Barnett Hyperflite arrows.
Hypertac 420 is a tactically designed compound crossbow from the premium brand Barnett, boasting brutal power and excellent workmanship. The draw weight is 215 lbs (97.5 kg) and the arrow speed reaches up to 420 fps (128 m/s).
The crossbow is equipped with a quality variable crossbow scope Halo 1.5–5x32 with green and red illumination, so shooting accuracy is maintained even in low-light conditions. The crossbow is also fitted with three 22 mm rails for additional tactical accessories such as lasers or flashlights.
The stock has an adjustable length, a rubber butt pad and a comfortable cheekpiece. The pistol grip is covered with a rubber overmould, improving grip quality, and the CCD (crank cocking device) crank cocking aid is integrated directly into the stock by the manufacturer – this shortens the time between shots.
The TriggerTech™ trigger mechanism increases shooting accuracy and stabilises the required trigger pull at 3 lbs (approx. 1.36 kg). The crossbow is equipped with an ADF (Anti-Dry Fire) mechanism, which prevents dry-firing – as this could damage the crossbow – and with a safety.
The manufacturer specifies HyperFlite™ arrows as the most suitable ammunition. The crossbow is compatible with their slimmer diameter, which offers many advantages. The projectile has greater penetration, less air and wind resistance, while maintaining a high level of durability and delivering maximum kinetic energy; the package includes three HyperFlite™ arrows and a quiver that can be mounted directly to the centre of the crossbow. The supplied kit also includes string wax.
The crossbow features Mossy Oak Elements Terra Gila® camo finish, allowing it to blend into almost any environment.
