ATTENTION! Due to the atypical shape of the discharge groove, ONLY Barnett Hyperflite bolts can be shot from this crossbow.
Barnett's top-quality and powerful compound crossbow impresses with its fine manufacturing and impressive power; the arrow reaches speeds of up to 405 fps (123 m/s). The crossbow has very compact dimensions; the overall length is 83.8 cm, the axel to axel width when cocked is 10" (25.4 cm). Uncocked, the crossbow extends to 13.6" (34.6 cm). The draw weight is 213 lbs (96.6 kg)
The Hyper XP 405 is assembled to match the special HyperFlite arrow technology. This "ammunition" has a narrower diameter, which brings many advantages. The shot has more piercing power, less air and wind resistance, while retaining a high level of durability and delivering maximum kinetic energy.
The crossbow has a very low profile and a high quality TriggerTech™ trigger. This technology increases shooting accuracy while stabilizing the force required to pull the trigger at 3 lbs (approx. 1.36 kg). The crossbow is equipped with an ADF (Anti-Dry Fire) mechanism that prevents empty shots - which could damage the crossbow. According to the manufacturer, the shooting feel is very close to that of a rifle. The shoulders are made of durable composite.
The Barnett Hyper has an adjustable buttstock with cheek rest and a high quality 4x32 multi-reticle scope with red and green illumination (variable) and velocity compensation. Its design also features three 22 mm picatinny rails to install additional accessories. Also included are two 22" HyperFlite™ .204 arrows, a rope cocking device, lubricating wax and a lightweight side-mount quiver.
This model is in Cervidae camouflage.
