It offers an ideal compromise between compact size and effectiveness – it can handle preparing firewood, light carpentry work, and emergency situations in the outdoors.
The heart of the axe is the stainless steel head, which resists corrosion and humid environments, making it ideal for use in rain, snow, and near water. The blade is shaped for efficient splitting and chopping – the profile offers a good balance between penetration and control over the stroke. Thanks to the simple grind, the edge is easy to restore even in the field, for example with a standard sharpener or pocket stone. Stainless steel also requires minimal maintenance – just clean and dry it after use.
The nylon handle increases comfort and grip security. The shaping is designed so that the axe sits safely in the hand during powerful blows as well as finer work. You will appreciate the anti-slip properties of the surface in rain, with sweaty palms, and when wearing gloves. The hole at the end of the handle allows you to add a safety cord or lanyard for even more secure handling.
The axe comes with a durable sheath made of Kydex material, which protects both the edge and your gear during transport. The hard synthetic Kydex material keeps its shape, is non-absorbing, and resists mechanical damage well, making it suitable for demanding outdoor conditions. Thanks to the rear loop, it is easy to hang on a belt.
