It offers an ideal compromise between compact size and performance – it handles firewood preparation, small carpentry jobs and emergency situations in the outdoors.
The heart of the axe is a stainless steel head that resists corrosion and humid environments, making it ideal for rain, snow and use near water. The blade is shaped for efficient splitting and chopping – the profile offers a good compromise between penetration and control of the strike. Thanks to its simple grind, the edge is easy to restore even in the field, for example with a basic sharpener or pocket stone. Stainless steel also requires minimal maintenance – just clean and dry it after use.
The nylon handle increases comfort and security of the grip. Its shape is designed so that the axe sits safely in the hand during powerful swings as well as finer work. You will appreciate the non-slip properties of the surface in rain, with sweaty hands and when wearing gloves. The hole at the end of the handle allows you to add a safety cord or lanyard for even more secure handling.
The axe comes with a durable Kydex sheath, which protects both the edge and your gear during transport. The hard synthetic Kydex material is dimensionally stable, non-absorbent and highly resistant to mechanical damage, making it suitable for demanding outdoor conditions. Thanks to the rear loop, it can be easily hung on a belt.
