Black Forest Midweight Woodworker from German manufacturer Helko Werk is a medium heavy axe with a wide blade. You can use it as a cutting tool and of course also for splitting wood.
The head is made of hand forged C45 carbon steel with a hardness of 53 - 56 HRC. The blade is hand ground and the trademark Helko crown is stamped. The head weighs 1250 g.
It is also worth mentioning the white walnut (hickory) handle with a total length of 70 cm. The wood used to make the hickory is carefully selected to ensure the best possible texture.
As an added bonus, a practical cowhide holster comes with this model. The total weight is 1950 g.
