The third generation of the successful Vulcan model from the Czech manufacturer Airgun Technology is finally here. Compared to its predecessors, it offers increased air capacity, which for this model is 580 ccm. This capacity has been achieved by using a brand-new carbon bottle. There is also an improved pressure regulator and an adjustable Power Plenum.
This is the version with a 700 mm barrel and an overall length of 997 mm. It is also equipped with an integrated sound moderator, which covers the entire barrel. The muzzle is also fitted with an M14x1.25 thread for mounting an external moderator. The black synthetic stock is complemented by an ergonomically shaped pistol grip.
The side lever is positioned in a comfortable location above the trigger and, of course, it can be swapped from the left side to the right, which will be appreciated by all left-handed shooters. The manual safety against accidental discharge is located in the trigger guard, just in front of the trigger, and can be activated after cocking the rifle.
On the Vulcan 3 you will find a total of two 22 mm Weaver rails. The first is located above the trigger and allows you to mount a riflescope, which you will need because this PCP air rifle is not fitted with open sights. The second mounting rail is located on the fore-end and is mainly intended for attaching a bipod.
The package includes a filling hose with pin and 2 magazines with a capacity of 10 pellets in .25 / 6.35 mm calibre. The whole rifle is additionally packed in a soft carry case.
