New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers The PCP air rifle Zbroia Sapsan TAC-M features a compact bullpup design with the action and magazine positioned behind the trigger. It is built around a robust anodised aluminium chassis, a regulated PCP system with an aluminium air cylinder and modular mounting interfaces for optics and other accessories.
Compressed air is supplied by an aluminium tubular air cylinder with a maximum filling pressure of 300 bar. The air system is equipped with a regulator, and the pressure in the cylinder can be monitored using the pressure gauge located on the left side of the air rifle.
Filling is carried out using a filling probe with a quick connector. The Sapsan TAC-M is available in two basic configurations, which differ in barrel length and cylinder capacity:
550/300 – 550 mm barrel and a cylinder capacity of 300 cm³
The steel rifled barrel with 12 grooves is fitted with a barrel sleeve, also known as a shroud. The muzzle features a 1/2 UNF thread for fitting an external moderator.
Due to the limited space between the barrel axis and the air cylinder, a moderator with a maximum diameter of 28 mm can be used. A larger-diameter moderator can only be used if its rear section around the thread is sufficiently tapered and does not encroach on the space occupied by the cylinder.
The magazine is inserted into the rear of the action behind the trigger. A holder for one spare magazine is also integrated into the rear of the stock.
Positioning a substantial part of the action behind the trigger allows a long barrel to be retained within a compact bullpup design and also moves the centre of gravity closer to the shooter.
The Sapsan TAC-M uses an adjustable two-stage trigger. The manual safety is located immediately in front of the trigger.
The upper part of the stock features a fixed cheekpiece made of stitched synthetic leather. The butt pad is height-adjustable using a simple mechanism – simply pull it outwards slightly, then move it to the desired height.
A top Picatinny rail is provided for mounting a rifle scope. Two additional short Picatinny rails are located on the sides of the barrel and allow further accessories to be fitted.
The aluminium platform surrounding the air cylinder features M-LOK slots on the sides, underneath and at angled lower positions. A removable Picatinny rail is factory-fitted to the underside M-LOK slots.
