The PCP air rifle Zbroia Hortitsia TAC combines the proven mechanical platform of the Hortitsia series with a modern modular stock made from aluminium and polymer. It uses a regulated PCP system with an air cylinder filled to 300 bar, linear metal magazines and fast straight-pull reloading.
The Hortitsia TAC is available in three basic configurations based on barrel length and air cylinder capacity:

Biathlon-style reloading and magazines
One of the most distinctive features of the Hortitsia is its straight-pull reloading mechanism with a side lever. The lever first pivots out slightly, then a straight rearward movement moves the entire bolt. The mechanism is fixed on the right-hand side.
The air rifle uses unconventional linear metal magazines with five positions, whose design resembles the magazines used in biathlon rifles. After each reload, the magazine automatically advances to the next position.
A holder for two spare magazines is integrated into the right-hand side of the fore-end, allowing them to be kept directly on the air rifle and swapped quickly.
Regulated PCP system
Compressed air is supplied by an aluminium air cylinder rated to 300 bar. The integrated regulator maintains a constant pressure entering the PCP system, helping to maintain consistent power and point of impact throughout shooting – from a fully pressurised cylinder until its pressure drops below the regulator's set pressure. The cylinder pressure can be checked using a pressure gauge located directly at its front end.
Filling is carried out using a fill probe with a quick connector, which is inserted into the fill port on the side of the front section of the cylinder.

Modular stock and controls
The Hortitsia TAC is fitted with a modular stock made from a combination of aluminium and polymer. The aluminium fore-end features M-LOK slots on the sides and underneath, with a removable Picatinny rail attached to the front underside.
The pistol grip uses the AR-15 standard, allowing it to be replaced with another compatible model. The rear section consists of a metal hinge and a Mil-Spec buffer tube with a length-adjustable AR-15-standard polymer stock. The stock folds to the left and incorporates a height-adjustable cheekpiece.
The stock design is suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters, although the reloading mechanism remains fixed on the right-hand side.
The model uses an adjustable two-stage trigger with a flat blade. The manual safety is located on the left-hand side of the main metal block.
Barrel and scope mounting
The air rifle is fitted with a rifled steel barrel. The air rifle is not equipped with a thread or an adapter for fitting a sound moderator.
A top Picatinny rail is provided for mounting a rifle scope.
