The PCP air rifle Zbroia Hortitsia combines a traditional wooden stock with an unusual magazine and cocking system inspired by biathlon rifle designs. It uses a regulated PCP system with an air cylinder filled to 300 bar, linear metal magazines and fast straight-pull cocking.
The Hortitsia is available in three basic configurations based on barrel length and air cylinder capacity:

Biathlon-style cocking and magazines
One of the Hortitsia's most distinctive features is its straight-pull cocking mechanism with a side lever. The lever first swings out slightly, then moves straight backwards to draw back the entire bolt. The mechanism is fixed on the right-hand side.
The air rifle uses unconventional linear metal magazines with five positions, whose design resembles the magazines used in biathlon rifles. After each cocking cycle, the magazine automatically advances to the next position.
A holder for five spare magazines is integrated into the right-hand side of the stock below the cheekpiece, allowing them to be carried directly on the air rifle and swapped quickly.
Regulated PCP system
Compressed air is supplied by an aluminium air cylinder rated to 300 bar. An integrated regulator maintains a constant pressure for the air supplied to the firing mechanism, helping to maintain consistent power and point of impact throughout shooting – from a fully pressurised cylinder until its pressure drops below the regulator's set pressure. The cylinder pressure can be checked using the pressure gauge located directly at its front end.
Filling is carried out using a filling probe with a quick connector, which is inserted into the filling port on the side of the front section of the air cylinder.

Wooden stock and controls
The Hortitsia is fitted with an ergonomically shaped wooden stock with a fixed cheekpiece and fixed butt pad. The shape of the grip and cheekpiece, as well as the positioning of the magazine holder, are designed for right-handed shooters.
The model uses an adjustable two-stage trigger. The manual safety is located on the left-hand side of the main metal action block.
The air rifle's distinctive character is complemented by a combination of black wood, blackened metal components and several brass elements on the cocking mechanism, trigger and other parts.
Barrel and scope mounting
The air rifle is fitted with a rifled steel barrel. The muzzle has neither a thread nor an adapter for mounting a sound moderator.
A top Picatinny rail is provided for mounting a rifle scope.
The front section of the wooden stock has a hole for the supplied brass sling stud, which can be inserted and secured. It serves as a mounting point for a sling or a compatible bipod.
