Before each shot, the barrel is broken open, a pellet is inserted and the piston mechanism is cocked at the same time.
The Big Cat 1250 model relies on a proven design, low operating requirements and practical set packaging. The package includes a 4x32 rifle scope, paper targets and 250 pcs of Gamo Match pellets.
The stock is made of durable polymer, which withstands normal handling and weather changes better than traditional wood. Thanks to its ambidextrous cheekpiece, it is suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters, while textured surfaces on the grip and fore-end provide a more secure hold. The rear section of the stock is fitted with a rubber butt pad with removable inserts, which helps to absorb recoil when firing.
Projectile guidance is provided by a rifled steel barrel in a polymer sleeve. This design protects the barrel against scratches and corrosion while also improving grip when breaking the barrel open. When cocking, the barrel folds down, the pellet is inserted directly into the barrel and, once closed, the air rifle is ready to fire.
On the upper part of the cylinder, there is a classic 11mm mounting rail, to which the supplied 4x32 fixed-magnification rifle scope or other compatible optics can be attached.
Gamo Big Cat 1250 uses a classic spring mechanism, which is mechanically simple and independent of an external energy source. Only suitable pellets are required for operation, with no need to fill a cartridge or replace CO2 cartridges.
