Do not be put off by the fact that this is one of the lower ranges of optics from Vortex, because this model with 3-9x magnification and a V-Brite reticle definitely has a lot to offer.
Bright and clear image, fast focusing, fully multi-coated lenses, and new improved turrets ensure optimal performance. The Vortex Crossfire II is made entirely from anodised aluminium alloy, which makes it highly resistant to damage from recoil. The tube is nitrogen-purged to prevent lens fogging. All of these advantages make it unbeatable in its price category.
Adjustment is in MOA, with 1/4 MOA clicks, which is roughly 7.35 mm at 100 m. All reticles in the Crossfire II series are in the second focal plane, so the selected magnification does not change the apparent size of the reticle. Parallax is fixed at 100 yards (91.4 m).
Thanks to its durability, this model is particularly suitable for firearms with high muzzle energy. Due to its size, weight and attractive price, it will also certainly find use on air rifles.
