The rings with an inner diameter of 25.4 mm are fixed to the rifle scope tube with four Allen screws - the Allen key is included in the package.
A hole cut in the base of the mount allows the use of iron sights when shooting. A single Allen screw is used for securing the ring to the Weaver mounting rail. The mounting height (from the mounting rail to the bottom edge of the ring) is 14 mm.
