The filling pressure of PCP air rifles has been constantly increasing over the years – therefore this compressor with a filling pressure of up to 400 bar (5800 psi) will serve you really well for a long time. In addition, you can fill pressure vessels with a maximum capacity of up to 6.8 litres (6800 cc). Naturally, it features AutoStop (automatic shut-off when the pre-set pressure is reached using the knob on the pressure gauge), and the unit is cooled both by air and by a distilled-water system. Noise level is in the range of 65–70 dB.
The compressor fills a 480 cc (0.48 litre) air cylinder from 0 to 300 bar in 13 minutes and from 150 to 300 bar in just 5 minutes.
To power the unit you can connect it to a 220V / 110V mains supply or to a 12V car battery thanks to the supplied cables. In addition, the package includes a power cable, a high-pressure hose with two standard quick couplers at both ends, a set of wrenches, springs, seals, and burst disks (safety valves).
The only thing you really have to pay attention to with this compressor is the initial commissioning procedure. You must add 500 ml of distilled water to the top tank (if the compressor already contains some distilled water, just top it up) and switch on the unit (NOT THE FILLING MODE), which will start the water pump. Note that to bleed the water-cooling system it will be necessary to switch the compressor off and on several times (only the red switch, not the filling process) until the pump starts drawing off the water. During this process, distilled water will be pumped from the tank into the cooling system, so keep topping it up gradually to the specified level until the level stabilises (and water starts flowing back from the valve into the tank). Then start the filling mode for approx. 10–20 minutes. Afterwards, disconnect the unit from the mains, empty the whole tank and then refill it with clean distilled water. It is also recommended to lubricate for the first time only after 6 hours of operation by turning the lubrication knob on the top of the unit one full turn (360°). Lubricating earlier may cause a decrease in performance and thus slower filling. The lubricant can be purchased here.
Important: You must purchase an external filter for the compressor to capture condensed moisture in the hose. The original filter was tested in conditions with minimal air humidity and may not be sufficient for our conditions. Always connect the hose with both the original and external filters facing the air rifle.
If your PCP rifle uses a filling pin with a 1/8" BSP thread, you must additionally purchase a male quick coupler for the connection.
Remember, the maximum recommended duration of one filling cycle is 300 minutes (5 hours) to prevent overheating and irreversible damage to the compressor. High-volume air cylinders may therefore require filling in several intervals.
For better visibility into the distilled water tank, you can easily remove the inner metal plate from the cap using pliers (see below). Performing this modification does not void the warranty.
WARNING! With some air rifles it may happen that you will not be able to fill them from empty – the compressor may not overcome the initial valve pressure. In such a case, it is necessary to fill the air rifle at least partially from a pressure cylinder, or in the order details request pre-filling of the air rifle by us, see the service price list.
WARNING! Do not overfill the water tank above the side valve near the top cover! The water level must be below the side valve so that the incoming water from the valve into the tank is visible. See the photo below.
