The Tauron 4-24x50 FFP MPX1 MRAD riflescope from the well-proven manufacturer Vector Optics is equipped with an unmatched optical system with a 56mm objective lens and FMC coating ensuring a very high light transmission and a clear image, thanks to which the riflescope can be used even in lower visibility.
This model uses an etched MPX1 reticle located in the first focal plane (the reticle enlarges as you zoom in) complemented by red illumination with 6 selectable brightness levels.
The elevation rectification turret features a Zero-reset function and both elevation and lateral correction can be set in a range of 15 MRAD. There is a parallax correction turret ranging from 15 yards to infinity on the left side of the riflescope combined with a turret for selecting the level of the reticle illumination. The power is supplied by a CR2032 battery (not included).
The turrets click smoothly and their movement is accompanied by quiet ticks. The correction is listed in milliradians MRAD (also called MIL) and 1 click equals 1/10 MRAD.
The durable IPX7-rated riflescope body is made of 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum and is filled with nitrogen to prevent fogging of the lenses during temperature changes. The single piece forged tube has a diameter of 30mm.
This model is able to withstand 1000 g (unit of gravitational acceleration), which is equivalent to the recoil of .300, .308 and .338. caliber firearms.
