The Continental series of riflescopes from Vector Optics is known for its durable design, quality materials and excellent optical properties.
The 30 mm monotube is made from 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminium and is filled with nitrogen to prevent the fogging of the lenses.
The biggest selling point of this scope is definitely its optical system. The German lenses ensure a crystal clear picture and in combination with the 50 mm objective lens offer up to 90% light transmission. This makes it usable in low light conditions.
The turrets are capped and have the zero reset feature. The adjustment graduation is in MOA (Minute of Angle) and each click has a value of 1/4 MOA. The left turret will allow you to choose one of 6 brightness settings. The illumination is powered by a single CR2032 battery (not included) and all you need to do is to insert it into the left turret. The parallax is set to 100 yards (91,4 m).
The VET-10BDC is a glass etched reticle designed for hunting and it can withstand recoils of up to 6000 J. The crosshair is in the second focal plane and this means that the magnification does not affect the size of the reticle.
The package contains two-piece Picatinny mount rings, spare exposed elevation turret, sunshade, tool for zeroing turrets, lens caps and lens cloth.
