PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Zephyr series of scopes from the Czech company VALIANT are known for their high-durability, quality craftsmanship and affordable price. Now comes the second generation of these scopes and it offers everything that made its predecessor so successful and so much more.

One of the most prominent features are the new and reworked Zero-Stop turrets. This mechanism will allow you to save the position of the turret for easy and quick return. The turrets are easy to operate even in gloves and each click is distinctive and clearly audible.

The reinforced single-piece tube made from aircraft-grade duralumin is filled with nitrogen to prevent fogging. Glass etched reticle is extremely durable and it can withstand the recoil of calibers like .357 H&H (more than 6000 J).

This model utilizes the versatile 1/2 Mil-Dot reticle which can be used in almost any situation and across all ranges. The reticle is in the second focal plane and the magnification has no effect on the size of the reticle. It is also illuminated in red colour and you can choose one of 11 different levels of brightness. The illumination is powered by a CR2032 battery (not included).

The adjustment graduation is in 1/4 MOA. The side-focus parallax is placed on the left turret. The parallax is adjustable from 10 yards (9,14 m) to infinity.

This model will offer you a 30% larger field of view and it comes with a large parallax side wheel, sunshade, lens caps and a lens cloth.

I haven't tried it yet, but at first glance it's a good quality rifle scope

From my point of view, the 4–16×50 version is generally the ideal choice for normal target shooting, or hunting with PCP air rifles, or small arms. It's not an optic that will make you sit on your butt, which is noticeable even in low light conditions, but it's important to remember that we're talking about optics under 10k here. And at this price level I believe it is a decent value for money. Personally, I am satisfied with it as a result. The workmanship is of good quality, even so it looks. A benefit for many users may be the original accessories such as the supplied high quality sun visor, the large parallax wheel, the practical flip-up caps, or the possibility to switch to a light cross.

  • Quality workmanship
  • Well-designed turrets
  • Large parallax wheel
  • Nitrogen purged
