High-quality workmanship and a beautifully clear image are a matter of course.
The Valiant Kronos optics have undergone demanding tests to withstand the toughest conditions. The reinforced tube is made from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminium alloy and is nitrogen-filled. This prevents internal fogging of the optical system during sudden temperature changes. The etched glass reticle is extremely resistant to recoil corresponding to calibre .375 H&H, i.e. over 6000 J.
The 1–6x magnification is a perfect choice for tactical shooting at shorter distances. The objective lens has a diameter of 24 mm and the lenses are treated with a special multi-layer coating with anti-reflective finish.
The low-profile adjustment turrets are exposed and allow quick correction in any conditions. The clicks are precise and one click equals 1/10 MRAD (one click moves the reticle by 1 cm at 100 m). The left turret is used to control the reticle illumination and hides a compartment for a CR2032 battery, which is not included and must be purchased separately. The brightness can be adjusted in 11 levels of red.
Parallax is fixed at 100 m. There is also a dioptre adjustment ranging from -2.75 to +2.75 dpt.
