Thermos

The Thermos brand is linked to the very origin of the first vacuum flask. The inventor James Dewar had it made in 1892 from two glass bottles. The air between the bottles was then removed to create a vacuum.

The glassmaker who produced the glass vacuum flask was Reinhold Burget. In 1904 he played a major role in the founding of the Thermos company. This was also when the first industrially manufactured thermos flask was created. Fortunately, the company did not stand still and continuously improved its thermal containers into their present form. Today’s vacuum flasks not only have a different design, but are also made from different materials and have more durable caps.

Today, Thermos manufactures stylish stainless steel containers, which are divided according to their intended use into food flasks and drinks flasks. Among the best-selling models are the Thermos King Steel food flask and the Thermos King 0.47 l blue flask.
