The TG2017 three-phase pass grinder enables the entire grinding process from fine smoothing through classic grinding to coarse grinding. All three grooves are clearly labelled so there is no risk of confusion. In addition to the broaching knife sharpeners, there is also one broaching scissor sharpener.
When sharpening a knife, we stretch the blade towards us - from heel to tip. In the case of scissors, it is necessary to change direction, so that we will insert the blade inwards. In order to keep the sharpener stable, the design is equipped with a holder. This allows us to hold the body of the sharpener with our weaker hand and to do the sharpening with our strong hand. Accidental sliding of the bottom edge on the substrate is prevented by rubber feet.
The sharpener can be used on all knives with smooth steel blades, including meat cleavers.
