The Vector Optics Tauron 6-24x50 HD MIL FFP riflescope offers variable 6-24x magnification, a 50 mm objective lens, and a reticle in the first focal plane (FFP). The combination of LaREE HD glass, Fully Multi-Coated lens coating, a 34 mm tube and 1000 G resistance creates a robust solution for precise shooting at medium and longer distances.
The riflescope provides variable 6-24x magnification. The 50 mm objective lens ensures sufficient light transmission for a clear image even in poor lighting conditions. The optical system uses LaREE HD glass combined with Fully Multi-Coated lens coating, which contributes to a sharp image and good contrast across the entire magnification range.
Inside the riflescope there is a VTA-3 MIL reticle in milliradians. The reticle is placed in the first focal plane (FFP), so when changing magnification it maintains the same angular values and makes holdover calculations and range estimation easier. The illuminated reticle offers 6 brightness levels. A CR2032 battery is used to power the illumination.
Exposed turrets with a click value of 1/10 MIL, with the top turret equipped with a Zero Stop function that allows you to return the elevation adjustment to a pre-set zero without having to count turret revolutions. Parallax is adjustable from 10 yards to infinity and the dioptre adjustment range of -2 to +2 allows the eyepiece to be adapted to the shooter’s individual eyesight.
The 34 mm tube is made of 6061 T6 aluminium alloy. The riflescope is sealed to the IP67 standard, making it dustproof and waterproof for temporary submersion. Nitrogen purging ensures resistance to internal fogging in changing weather conditions. The 1000 G rating means it is designed to handle the recoil of calibres equivalent to .300, .308 and .338 without shifting the point of aim.
